Just received tracking info for the domestic orders and it has been uploaded!
International orders are scheduled to arrive at our warehouse on 2/17 and should ship out the same day.
I will update the group as soon as soon as the international orders are packed up and on the way to you.

Got another update for the group. Domestic orders were scheduled to ship from the vendor earlier today. We are currently waiting on confirmation and tracking info.
International orders will be first shipped to our warehouse as a bulk order and then individually packed for shipment to you.
We expect to hear back from the vendor first thing in the morning and will post an update shortly after.

Quick update for the group. We are in contact with the vendor and awaiting updated shipment estimates from them. We have a call scheduled first thing tomorrow morning and should get a bit more visibility in regards to when we can expect these in our warehouse (international orders) and to ship directly from them (domestic orders). We will update the group as soon as these are on the way.
Currently we expect that these will be in our warehouse inline with the expected ship date listed in the drop description page.

What do u think of the CEntrance Dacmini CX with 1 ohm output to power my akg k7xx?

Unfortunately I have zero experience with that. You could definitely check out the kind folks over at head-fi.org. They've been having a bit of a hayday with the akg 7xx headphones and testing them with various amps. At least you'd be able to check the reviews of that CEntrance.

Anyone buying should be aware that the minimum theoretical output impedance of this amp is 10 Ohms, meaning that it may deteriorate the sound quality of headphones with less than 80 Ohm drivers.

It's 100-240V. No need to worry about that.

Forewarning, I got this for my DT 990 250ohm version from Amazon, and was very disappointed with it It is apparently a reboxed Fiio E09k/E11k, but even on max gain and max volume, it didn't impress me. at about 75% it's max volume, it matches my Asus Z97 Pro's op-amp, and my Logitech Z506's built-in amp is actually louder than this amp/dac can go... The DAC is mediocre, and I couldn't tell the difference between this and the front headphone jack of my PC... this was only with a 250ohm headset! I'drecommend a better or at least more reputable amp or dac. Monoprice let me down this time :/

3 years old, I know, but I've got one of these and it drives my 600 Ohm DT 880's at less than 50% volume without fail. Perhaps you have a defective unit. Or perhaps you're almost deaf.
I really know nothing about audio, and am trying to educate myself. I came across this product and I am wondering if it is possible to use it with speakers as well as headset? What I would like to do, is have some bookshelf speakers or a 2.1 speaker system plugged into a DAC/AMP,(not sure how I would plug it in, I know even less about the different cables and adapters) and then when I want to use headphones, be able to simply plug my headphones into the headphone jack in the front. Is that something I can do with this product? If so, what kind of adapter would I need to be able to plug in some bookshelf speakers or a 2.1 speaker system?
Has anyone tried this in Linux (Ubuntu in particular)?

Works well with Fedora. Haven't tried Ubuntu though.
Thinking about pulling the trigger on the Beyerdynamic DT 990, will this DAC/Amp be able to power the 600 ohm version? If I'm going to go all out, I may as well go all out.

have you used a separate dac, because they turned down the internal dac so there wouldn't be interference.
They aren't, the premiums are much more comfy due to less compression than the Pro. But, it's been 3 years what do you care? :)
Um... it is mid January now, any updates?
Quick update for the group. We reached out to the vendor in regards to the current status of the order and are waiting to hear back from them. Last conversation we had with them they were still waiting for the shipment to go through the dock, but due to the strikes currently going on the process is much slower than usual. I will try reaching out to them again tomorrow, until I hear back and update you all as soon as I can.
Expect an update from us on 12/19 or sooner if we hear back before then.

It's long past 12/19 and still no updates. Can you clarify the shipping status for international customers, please? This drop is taking a lot of time already.
The amp I received only works if I turn is AUX and only sometimes works, takes me about 10 times turning the switch for it to boot. I tried to submit a ticket but that is completely broken and no one replys
Quick update for the group. I spoke to the vendor earlier today and they let me know the backordered items should arrive with them at the end of this week based on their conversation with US Customs at Newport Beach.
They will expedite the shipment to our warehouse and if everything goes according to plan these should ship out from us towards the mid/end of next week.
We will stay in contact with the vendor and update the group if anything comes up between now and then.

Well, I'm sorry but I have given up and lodged a dispute with my credit card provider to get refunds for my double-billed transaction. Repeated attempts to email support@massdrop.com have failed, since I never got a response. There is no issue with my email service as I use it daily to conduct lots of business, with excellent success.
Sasha, I saw your one email to me, but you never replied again, even when I used a completely different email address to contact you. I repeat my requests here to refund my double-billed transactions (I did email you proof) and to remove me from the drop.
A word of advice, give out a phone number to use as a fall-back - it could even be a message service where I left my details, that would have been something. I am a pretty dissatisfied customer because I feel unable to communicate with Massdrop.

Please don't ship any goods to me as I will not pay to ship them back - your company must accept this as a firm notice from me on this issue.

Spoke to the vendor earlier today and they let us know that unfortunately as of today their inventory is still showing not available. They acknowledged that the ETA was missed and let us know that the dates they are providing are estimated and they are themselves are getting estimated dates from the manufacturing plant.
Our contact has promised to keep us updated and let us know that once inventory does become available it will be allocated to the group first.
I will be keeping in close contact with them the rest of the week and will report back as soon as I get confirmation that the order has arrived at their warehouse.
Expect an update from us on 12/9 or sooner if something comes up.
For goodness sake! I just discovered this discussion - I am trying to GET OFF this drop. Support team, I wish someone to contact me please - I got double billed and have sent at least 4 emails to support@massdrop.com with no reply.

We have just contacted the vendor in regards to the inventory that is scheduled to arrive Monday and are now waiting on their response. Since it is Saturday we don't expect an answer today, but we should get some new news for those of you with outstanding orders first thing Monday morning. We will also be requesting the vendor to provide next day or at minimum 2-day shipping to our warehouse to minimize turn around time, as the delay was not initially brought to our attention. We are working hard to make sure that your orders get out to you ASAP.

We spoke to the vendor in regards to the orders that were going to be first sent to our warehouse and they notified us that they are currently out of stock and won't be able to replenish inventory until 12/1. We are trying to get them to pull units from channel partners, but it looks to be a difficult proposition. We will remain in contact with them and update the group if anything changes.

Props to MD and MP for the quick turnaround on this drop! I got it before several other items I ordered last month...
Domestic orders were shipped directly from the vendor and are en route or delivered! International orders will first be sent to our warehouse before being bounced overseas. We are waiting on shipment confirmation in regards to these and should have more news for the group early next week.

I just received mine from the latest drop. Isn't even marked as shipped yet. Sounds fantastic! This was a huge upgrade over my onboard audio for my Sennheiser's.
