Oh, my goodness, this is the biggest hunk of garbage in the world. Bought it last year. I am on my third RMA service (so far).
Main issue with it is that Data input and output connections are flaky. This machine was supposed to be for editing video (Thunderbolt, USB-C? 4 USB 3.0 ports? Are you kidding?). Everything except for USB travel drives (Western Digital or Seagate) will not connect or stay connected during large file transfers. Even then, if I have more than one drive connected at a time, the OS will lose connection to the drive. Adobe Premiere won't even open my projects anymore that are on an external drive.
However, I can attach the same ExFAT drives to a 2010 iMac and a 2012 home made computer and everything works fine. Fast USB transfer speeds (well, not with USB 2.0 on the iMac, but still) and consistent performance.
It is a stylish little rig. Games work relatively okay. I was hoping that MSI had upped its quality over the years, thanks to online reviews. However, stay away from MSI.
