When a flashlight is too concentrated and a lantern is too big, turn to the Nitecore LR10. A little larger than a golf ball, this pocket lantern offers a whopping 250 lumens of output. Thanks to the nine high-CRI LEDs, it has a color temperature of over 4500k, which means the light isn’t bright and obnoxious, but natural and warm. Among the compact light’s other modes are medium, low, SOS, beacon, and a caution light for emergencies. Of course, while it easily fits in a pocket, it comes hitched with a hanging loop to clip to a pack, or even a mirror in the car. The body comes in four different colors, each of which is IP66 waterproof and 1.5-meter impact resistant.
