Gotta say, I'm glad I didn't miss this drop. Finally got these iems in my hands and listening to them right now. Started off listening to Enigma's A Posteriori. It did an amazing job of playing all the layers that Michael Cretu envisioned. It created an incredible 3d effect. Now I'm listening to Diana Krall's Quiet Nights. Diana's vocals are absolutely silky. I love being able to hear Diana breathe in between notes. Staging is spot on. The notes from the piano is so realistic. Soundstage is nice and wide.
I am using a SanDisk Clip Zip powered by an Alo Audio MK3 B+ amp. The Primo 8 were not burned in and using the stock tips that were already on them. Will probably play around with the different tips but probably won't use the Comply's.
I have to say these are probably my favorite iem at the moment. These trumped my Dunu DN2000J. Not sure if I gave the Dunu a fair chance though, I do like them but the treble sounded a little too metallic, not sure if that goes away after a few hundred hours of burn in?
Anyways, if these return again at this price for another drop, don't hesitate and get these. Way better then taking a chance with the HEM bluebox and it'll only cost you a few bucks more and you're guaranteed a quad driver iem that sounds fantastic.
