These are a fantastic pair of sunglasses. They are what I have expected when buying from Oakley - well made comfortable and well fit.
Just hope they don't break because purchasing them through Massdrop unfortunately voided my warranty. If you buy Oakley through an authorized distributor you often have a LIFETIME warranty on the lenses. If you buy them through Massdrop they are usually only warrantied for 30 days.
Community - be clear - the language in the terms and conditions for Massdrop states that "some items come with a manufacturer warranty". That technically is not true nor is it transparent. It should state clearly:
"Please note that by purchasing this item THROUGH MASSDROP - your Manufacturer's warranty may not be available to you. Please check with the manufacturer to verify your proof of purchase through MASSDROP will entitle you to the included Manufacturer's warranty.
Unless it is "Massdrop" made which some very nice items are (Sennheiser for example) assume the manufacturers warranty will not be honored. (Yamaha, Oakley, etc.)
So, again - (5) stars for the product. But don't buy anything without checking with the manufacturer first. I made a $1,000.00 mistake because I made an incorrect assumption.
I still am a Massdrop customer - but only for small dollar stuff. NEVER buy high end gear without checking with the manufacturer specifically. You will save yourself a ton of time and money.
