Impressed with this comfortable, high-quality pack
Bought this pack to replace both my soft briefcase for work and my travel pack - it's stitched together very nicely, made of soft yet durable materials, a breeze to clean, comes in great colors, and most importantly, *very* comfortable. It doesn't expand quite as much as you might expect but is large enough for all the essentials and then some. Just don't expect to cram a 2-week backpacking trip of clothes & supplies in it, and you won't be disappointed.

Lots of storage and water resistant
I bought this pack to replace an Ogio. I carry this bag daily and I'm much happier with the Olympia. The Olympia holds much more than my previous bag but has a smaller profile. All of the storage compartments and pockets are very useable, unlike a lot of other bags I've used. The magnetic closures work well and I prefer them to zippers. I live in a very wet climate and the water resistance is very nice, especially since I usually carry a few electronics with me. So far I have no complaints; however, I would not pay retail for this backpack. For the Drop price, it's great. It's not worth $180.

Great looking backpack but showing early signs of wear
I got this backpack in Sienna and really love the color. Overall I like the look with the straps, but have magnetic snaps for easy access. Side pockets big enough for a standard drink and several zipper compartments throughout. Just a warning that this padded laptop compartment will NOT fit a 17" laptop. This wasn't a problem for me since I was just traveling with a small netbook, but wanted to spread the word. The only downside is that I am already seeing some minor early signs of wear. Strings coming loose, stitching fraying, and things like that so we will see the true longevity of this backpack, but otherwise am happy with my purchase.

SublimeReqI am not using this as an every day item or anything, mostly intermittent travel. So far I have taken it on 2 trips and so far no further noticeable signs of wear.

Great Quality
I love this thing, I've had it for years now and been using it regularly. Back when I was a student it was perfect for my laptop and books, and after graduating it's been a great hiking/travel backpack. It's not the biggest bag you can find, so I wouldn't take it on a hardcore backpacking trip, but for more casual hikers it's a great buy. It's easily my go-to bag and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for similar use to mine.

It was a good, functional light-duty backpack, which I used to carry my laptop on my daily commute. But after two weeks, the stitching on the leather straps started coming out. Now, after something like four weeks, I've been finding bits on the floor. I will be retiring this pack.

looks ok, but cheap materials and poorly stitched. I have used it a grand total of once (just to the office, mind you) and several seams are coming undone.

I want to say 4/5 but there was one issue I had with my bag. Overall, great backpack for school. The laptop sleeve securely holds my thinkpad and Ipad Pro. Lots of extra space for backing my misc. school items/Lunch. The leather and interior all look very sleek with good build quality. One Problem: The threading has slightly come apart on 2 of my straps. I took a lighter to the end of the thread so hopefully that holds it for awhile. Hopefully the bag doesnt start falling apart if the threading continues to rip and come apart.

Pretry good for the price.
TL;DR - If you're looking for just a casual bag that sees little wear or strain, this might be the bag for you. If you want something you can take to hell and back, look elsewhere. I was looking for something a little more rugged. I'm a cyclist with a 10 mile commute to work every day. This bag has seen near daily use for about a year and it's starting to give up on me. The stitching that connects the magnet to one of the straps came apart and the magnet was lost ages ago. Definitely seeing some fraying/beginning rips on outer material. Wish the side bottle pockets were a little bigger. Also straps are def not real leather and seem kind of cheap. And maybe I'm being nitpicky but the drawstring closure often gets in the way and wraps around things as you pack. Might not seem like a big deal but with daily use this gets real annoying. Overall not a terrible bag at the price I got it ($45-ish if I remember correctly). And if you're using this as a school bag or light travel bag this will probably do the job. But considering my last bag was a $20 Jansport that lasted me damn near a decade I'm a little disappointed. I will compliment it on two main things though. It is a lovely bag, and I received a lot of attention for how good it looked. Secondly, the waterproof aspect of it is phenomenal. When needed for waterproofing the drawstring comes in handy, and as a cyclist just trying to get home through a rainy night after work, this bag came through for me like that old Jansport never could. But a year in and it's showing signs of giving up, and I'm starting the search for a new bag.

Loose threads everwhere, concern with longevity, will update after use.
There are stray threads on every seam. There are even seams that are only half sewn.

I work in a school and I carry papers around a lot. I went to shoulder my bag and it ripped where the end strap at the base of the bag meet the body of the bag. Till that happened I would of given it 5 stars. Perhaps build quialty is the reason these bags are on sale for so cheap. Food for thought.
