2 weeks with my Ostrys so far, and each time I start listening to music, the sun is rising literally in my ears and in my heart. Beautiful sound aaaaall the way , thumbs up for this one ! Greetings from Germany

Just a quick update for the group. We were informed by our warehouse that the OSTRY KC06 Inner-Ear Earphones has arrived earlier today.
The order arrived in a bulk shipment and our warehouse team is ready to break it down into individual packages and send them out to you first thing tomorrow.

Thanks again for joining the drop with the community. We submitted the group’s order with the vendor for the OSTRY KC06 Inner-Ear Earphones shortly after the drop ended and they have begun preparing it for shipment.
Once the group’s order is ready at the vendor’s location, they will send the bulk shipment to our fulfillment center where we’ll break it up into individual orders and ship them off to you as soon as possible.
The moment we receive confirmation regarding the shipping schedule from the vendor, we will provide you guys with updated information on the status of your package.
Expect an update from us on 1/29 or sooner.

Geez they must only have one guy shipping everything if it takes that long to break up and ship our orders. And it typically takes long enough for manufacturers to even ship the order to MD. Bah.

The last post on these are a year old and some of them are negative in terms of quality. Can anyone shoot an update on their thoughts to this day. Are these worth the buy? What alternatives are there? Are there any still doing battle with some of the previous buyers?

Thank you for your insight, I jumped into the TFZ King Pro drop that ended yesterday, which I'll use in the office. If the A model ever pops up here I'll consider them for everyday use.

I'm fairly new to the audiophile world. Would these be considered as having a balanced sound?

OpeeThough it all depends on where one is coming from and what one's point of reference(s) may be, the KC06's treble might characterize them as slightly north of what would be considered an otherwise purely balanced sound signature. In other words, the KC06 may be characterized as a bright sounding earphone. For a more conventionally balanced sound signature, there are various alternatives. For starters, refer to the following:

I don't think I have ever waited so long for an item that was already paid for.. I love the items on Massdrop but, this is the second time there has been a prolonged delay between Massdrop and the vendor (Last time being CM Storm.) I really hope future connections between Massdrop and its vendors can be more concrete or I may have to use this website as just a buyers guide to find interesting items and just pay the extra 10-20bucks that I'm saving by waiting 4x the average shipping time either in-store or directly from the vendor.

I just got mine about 30 minutes ago, I just wanted to post my initial impressions. I'm fairly new to higher grade audio gear, I also purchased the AKG k7xx for use at home and wanted the kc06 for use on the go. I have not hooked my kc06 up to my powered sound card yet, and have only as of yet used my Note 4, and im still blown away. My previous earbuds were some 2xl buds from biglots so the difference is huge. (2xl is a knock off brand owned by skull candy Im pretty sure)
The audio is so clear. Metal and rock shine, but the bass on hip hop and edm is still solid and the best I have had in ear buds. Can't wait to sit down and play some CS:GO using these things and see how the perform for gaming and spacial.

Ill report back with my final thoughts, Also I have no static or noise from movement as others have reported from the last drop.

SteazDefinitely let me know how they are for gaming. Will be using these on the go for sure but would be nice if i could use them for gaming too.

I apologize for the delay on the update everyone.
We noticed our vendor made a mistake with the order, and shipped out the incorrect earphones instead of the on we ordered. We've been working very closely with our vendor to rectify the problem. As of yesterday, our vendor expedited a new shipment of the KC06 to us, and we are expecting this shipment to arrive before end of the week based on the shipping schedule we were given.

KappaThe A's have a more bass-oriented sound signature while these are very neutral with a sparkly treble. I haven't actually listened to the A's but I've read stuff and heard about them. Its just about the bass.
