Pretty solid starter pen. I bought this for what looked like a clean-yet-bold design, which I'm liking even more in person. I'm definitely considering upgrading the nib.

Great news group we placed the group's order shortly after the drop ended and the vendor has let us know that the group's order has already been picked up and is on its way to our warehouse now. Based on the tracking provided these are scheduled to come in 12/15. Our warehouse team has been forwarded tracking info and will be standing by, ready to get these packed up and turned around as soon as they come in.
Sometimes shipments get delayed en route, not to worry as we will keep the group posted throughout the process and notify you all if anything causes delay.

Just starting out in the hobby after recovering a fountain pen i got 1993 (La infinita). So I seeking to try it with a custom ink. And like everyone said before, there´s no stipulation on having to use them together. Also having a pilot parallel coming in so who knows how it all works out.

If the pairing of the Pilot White Tiger and the Chivor is not ideal, what about Noodler's Heart of Darkness and/or Liberty's Elysium? I have a Noodler's Ink "Charlie" pen that lays down a thicker line. Perhaps this pen will be better suited to using the Chivor. What are your thoughts?

Stormy Grey did NOT work in my F nib white tiger pen (shimmer did not come through) but works in my Jinhao M as long as I don't let it settle. I haven't tried Emerald but I assume it would be similar. I love the Pilot and I love the 1670 inks, I just would not use the two together. Noodler's Baystate inks are my favorite for the Pilot fine nib if you're wondering what to try.

Not a good pairing of pen and ink. These inks show off their unique qualities best in either a broad nib, or a fat medium nib (I use M Jinhaos and Bexleys for 1670 inks). I also wouldn't use such a saturated ink in a white pen! Still, I guess you don't have to use them together just because you buy them together.

TestbrahThe ink will write, but if it's like the Stormy Grey I used in this pen, you won't get any of the shimmer. Since the flakes aren't coming through when writing, I'd worry that going through the full bottle would cause problems for the pen.
