I've had this for a few months now and am still thrilled with it. $199 is a lot for a daily carry, but it's honestly a fair price for what you get.
This thing feels incredibly solid, with zero blade play. The blade is quite thick and perfectly centered. It opens smoothly with a satisfying "SNICK" reminiscent of my assisted-opening Benchmade Emissary. Lock-up is very solid and engages 35-40% of blade width. The frame is rigid. I haven't disassembled it so I can't comment on the internals, but outward indications are all good. The detente on mine is on the strong side, but that enables it to flip open completely and consistently so no complaints.
Mine came with no visible flaws whatsoever, and that's saying something coming from me. (I'm the type of guy who can't un-see a paint chip on his car and who's bothered when his fridge doors are misaligned.) The anodization--blue/purple in my case--is spotless. The sides of the blade are silky smooth and the grind is uniform. Certain sections of the scales have a very faint, grooved texture machined into them. At first glance it can be mistaken for leftover CNC marks, although it's very clearly deliberate given the surfaces on which it is--and is not--applied. Overall the knife has a very industrial look to it, and that texture basically reiterates the fact that you're looking at a solid hunk of metal.
Despite being fairly long, it almost seems to disappear in the pocket due to its slender profile and relatively high clip placement. It's easy and painless to get your hand in and out of your pocket alongside this knife (assuming, of course, that you can do so when the knife's not there). The sleekness of the handle and the shape of the clip let it slide in and out of the pocket without snagging. There are no sharp edges other than the one that's supposed to be sharp, so it's more comfortable to use than you might expect. The jimping on the flipper tab is fairly aggressive, but I personally don't mind. It provides more grip when flipping, and when the knife is open that jimping faces away from the blade and thus serves to keep your hand away from the business end.
The long, slim shape comes with a couple of trade-offs to be aware of: The pivot and flipper sit farther down in the pocket than those of a shorter knife, or versus one with a clip set lower on the handle, so it's more likely to require repositioning in the hand after taking it out. Also, compared to a fatter knife, the handle has less surface area to hold onto while flipping. These are minor gripes, though, and are to be expected in any knife with a similar form factor. Really it just comes down to preference and usage. This may be too skinny if you prefer something like a Kershaw Blur or need a knife to use with heavy gloves. OTOH, if you want something with a low profile and serious cutting edge, this is a winner.
Anyway, long story short... this knife is solid, functional, and damn sexy too.

Like all the Rike knives I have this one functions flawlessly and M390 is absolutely one of the best steels in knives. I love this guy, it's lightweight but heavy performing!
