If you're looking for very modern pocket jewelry to add to your collection, this is worth a look. This is NOT ideal for EDC or hard use - the frame has some sharp-ish edges and can be slick in sweaty hands. But the materials are great and the look is unique compared to all the tactical stuff out there.
I haven't had many Rike Knives that I didn't like. This one hasn't let me down yet. Sharp, long blade for piercing cuts.
As alesys, Rike's finish work is impeccable. The only part that isn't 100% is the slide lock. It has a bit of up and down play.
I decided to take a chance on this knife and am happy with the purchase. The appearance is rather futuristic and the sliding blade lock is a nice functional touch. It is a large knife but not overly heavy, thanks in part to the skeletonized frame. I took one point off for the price.
Have primarily been a made in USA knife buyer but have really taken to this blade. It is now my primary EDC for summer and fits well in the 5.11 "knife pocket".
The blade was very sharp out of the box, action is just right (for me) and love the appearance. Also fit my hand well (medium to large). Very happy with purchase and with Massdrop.
