I own these headphones already. My thoughts: these aren't monitor headphones. They're almost certainly U shaped in sound signature. However, in their stock form, they sound good with just about every genre. They are particularly ideal for well produced electric guitar based music. The only downsides are build quality (durable but tangibly cheap, mildly creaky; velour pads make experience better) and the overhead frame wires. Bump them and they reverberate at a particular bass frequency. Well worth their low price here OR on Amazon if cheaper.
