How good is the sound quality and what is that box ?
is it a boost for the sound ?

stefanoskOK so we're a little biased but we believe the SC1000 is as good as good as any IEM on the market and probably better. The response is very flat except for a slight rise the low frequencies. Some IEMs have much higher boost in the bass but we were going for accuracy (use your bass boost if you want more). The internal amplifiers are significantly better than most portable players (iPods, iPhones, etc.) so there's no need for any external DAC/amp. The sensitivity (loudness) is roughly equivalent to most BA IEMs.
Inside the box is a AAA battery, a high-quality sliding volume control for the ambient sound control, and a circuit board for the amplifiers and battery management. It is roughly the size and weight of a Bic lighter.
