Surely this is a wonderful or even necessary item to have while out camping in the wilderness. But i am inclined to say that from far, it definitely looks very much like a douche.
Would have made a purchase of the S2. However, the S2 and S3 were sold out. Must have been a small lot available for both to be sold out and a total of 34 bottles sold. Maybe next time.
HenKiThis new micro filter from Sawyer can be rigged into an inline drinking tube set up. I don't believe the BeFree can do that, unless you built some custom housing for it. I've gone down the "build a custom piece for something to make it work" rabbit hole before and I don't think it was worth it!

(Just the limited use bottle without the filter top)
Ohh. I see we lucky folks living in the old world can get the S2 filter system for just under a hundred pounds. Quite the steal.
eyepatchyI have the S3 and dry never used weight is .7 3/4 oz. There's a foam inside that acts as the filter and I'm sure once used, it will weight substantially more even empty.
