These things are awesome they feel great and really seem to be made of very high-quality materials but they are quite stiff and fairly thick and some peoples shoes may not be able to fit this much inside but my new balance shoes in my regular size fit them no problem
Tried these for the first time in a pair of dress shoes for about 4 hours and they were fine. Then a whole day on my feet yesterday in a pair of Altra Escalantes. I figured I might have some discomfort the next day since I dived right in without much ‘break in’. But I feel great the next day.
Definitely noticeable arch support. Enough to draw my attention to it often throughout the day. Making me think I might have discomfort the next day. But no soreness or sign that I had been wearing them all day the day before. I can definitely see how these might be helpful for those with flat feet or Plantar fasciitis, but that the corrective nature of these insoles might take some getting used to initially. Reviews state these “mold” to your feet over time. So if the correctivness of these are extreme for you, it appears that this may ease with repeated wearing.
Bear in mind that these are not intended to provide much more cushioning than your shoe already supplies. What these are designed to do is shape your foot into a more natural posture. If cushioning is what you need more than arch support then look at gel insoles instead.
I have a pair of the “Work” versions of these coming soon so perhaps they are different than these “Sport” ones in the area of cushioning. But again, I don’t think that’s the intent of these insoles. Overall, a good experience so far.
I’ve used three different brands of over-the-counter inserts in the past couple years: Red Wing; Superfeet; and SOLE. Superfeet provided the best support and SOLE the least. YMMV.
SOLE SPORT FOOTBEDS had great heel and arch support.
Several years ago, I was prescribed custom orthotics from a chiropractor. I spent a fortune on them convinced they would help make me a better runner and eliminate my pesky shin splints. I tried them once. I never wore them again.
So, when I bought SOLE, I was interested to try an insole again. However, given my less-than-ideal experience with my first insoles, I was skeptical.
First, I had to cut them slightly to fit my shoes. The product molds to your foot over time. So far, so good.
I decided I would set off on a nice long run. I ran a total of 10km, perfectly happy and without any pain at all. Success!
Wore my old insoles to shreds so I figured I'd try this. After a year of use I can confirm they're comfortable. Not as comfortable as my old plush insoles, but they fit well and don't feel hard when in use.

Go try on pads first
I'd recommend trying on pads in a store somewhere, these didn't work great for me so was a waste of money.
Read the reviews for these and everyone seemed to rave the footbed and arch support.
However, the soles are stiffer than I expected. It's pretty rough to walk on or stand on for long periods of time. I'm constantly on my feet so I thought this would help, but unfortunately, it did not work for me. Now, they are sitting in some back corner, collecting some dust.
