Pocket Professional

The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX100 III maintains the compact size of its predecessor, the DSC-RX100 II, and adds the new f/1.8-2.8 Carl Zeiss Vario-Sonnar T lens with 24-70mm zoom. Along with a large 20.1MP Exmor R CMOS censor, this point-and-shoot is equipped with the BIONZ X processor typically found in Sony’s mirrorless cameras for speedier performance. With improved detail in the built-in electronic viewfinder and neutral density filter, shooting video is more accurate and shot framing is easier to control.

Endless Abilities

The RX100 II offers an abundant amount of key features including high speed autofocus, remote connectivity to smartphones via Wi-Fi or NFC, and an ISO sensitivity up to 12800. P/A/S/M modes, JPEG and RAW image capture, and a tiltable 3" display make it easy to use and highly adaptable at any angle. The lens quality and sensitivity makes this camera an excellent tool for professional grade video capture in full HD resolution at 60p or 24p. The camera also features 10 fps continuous shooting for actions shots and optical SteadyShot for ultimate image stabilization.
