As successful as the HP100 and HP200 drops were, I'm really sad to see this one flop. No front page placement may have something to do with it, though, since not many people are familiar with Soundmagic.

I have the HP100, which is essentially the same thing as these. They're the best closed headphones I've heard under $300. The sound is on the neutral side with a bit of a sub-bass bump. They're not great at anything but they're good at everything; they make a wonderful all-arounder. They also scale surprisingly well with good equipment.
For a big bonus on the comfort scale, I recommend snagging a set of the Shure 1540 alcantara pads.

I think the detail is fantastic. I use these quite often, and often choose them over my dt 990's when im looking for detail over soundstage.

I've heard the gr07, even owned the HP100 at the same time. You'll love the HP150.

agh, same complaint here -- I was going to get these until they pulled Canadian availability. I got the HP100s from massdrop back when they did that drop a while ago, so it's a pain that it's changed since then.

Just wondering, would it be possible for these to arrive by the end of may 22 if I live in NYC? I will be moving elsewhere afterwards, and I need them before that time period.
