Product Description
Named for the small scuba diving haven of Tavolara located on the northeast coast of Italy, this Spinnaker timepiece is diver inspired without the traditional bulk of deep-sea watches. The chunky hands and indices are lumed for visibility at great depths, but the case itself—at 42 millimeters—is not as large as many traditional dive watches Read More
I love my new watch :) it runs a bit small on my wrist... Probably because I am used to wearing bigger size watches. Otherwise it is really nice watch, illumination is great, it can be your daily watch because it won't limit your wrist range of motion (you can do pushups and lean forward on your hands,...). The only thing that bothers me is glass 'window' on the back of the case. In my opinion wrist is sweating a lot more on glass window than on steel. They could also add manual instructions on how to change straps but you can probably find videos about that on YT.
To those of you that have stated that MassDrop customer service said the watch doesn't include a manufacturer warranty, just send them the link to this drop. The description still clearly states that it includes a two-year manufacturer warranty. Just looked at the description and it still says so.
Mine "departed from Ellenwood, Georgia, on May 9th" and there hasn't been an update since. The Glycine Combat Sub drop will be the last one I participate in... this FedEx Surepost/DHL GlobalMail thing is clearly not the best option, especially for international customers, and MassDrop refuses to provide other shipping options, even if it means having to pay a b extra.
Got mine last week, the green version. Actually looks better in person than in photos. Quite thick but too noticeable and not enormously wide. The crystal is also interesting: super thick, stands up past the metal edges, but clear as a bell.
Fantastic buy!
I did receive my order, was a little shocked at the import fee to Canada $35 (US) + $15 shipping on a $100 watch.
Very happy with the watch, love the colours not sure how well the Crystal will ware, its huge!
I received mine a few days ago. Haven't been able to stop staring at it long enough to snap a few picks. I will be buying another one for sure. I absolutely love the glass.
This watch is prominent on wrist and is super light. Get one if you didn't this go round. Sorry for those with empty boxes.
Just had mine do the exact same thing, damn screw down crown popped off and wouldn't mend when I screwed it back on. Didn't want to go through warranty because the new one would have the same issue, given the price of the watch. Cost me half of what the watch was worth to fix it.
Silicone_DuckyYes that was a bummer. But after seeing all that it took to fix the problem, I order a watch tool kit. Next time, I will just do it myself. All they did was take the back off. Push a tiny button and the stem came right out. the jeweler then took a little pair of pliers and just tightened the crown down. Put it back in and closed the back. The tool kit cost half the repair job we both spent.
You would think the shipping prep would go something like this:
STEP ONE: PUT WATCH IN BOX.
Step 2 to whatevs: Everything else.
Next to last step: MAKE SURE WATCH IS IN BOX.
Last step: Ship
AdramyttiumMy guess is they use the same box for all their watches, so there's probably hundreds of them in the shop when they're packing. I imagine it might be easy to misplace a box or two if they're newer company with poor process control and SOP.
Mine arrived today. Very nice. Great value at 99 bucks. Here are some pics. Next to my Datejust, it's not overly large, but you can see it's substantially a thick watch.
