Best comb I ever had and I use it every day. Before I got it I wondered if it would be sharp at all but after running my fingers over every edge I can really tell that they did a good job finishing it. The sheath fits like a glove and looks great, but I really only use it when I'm traveling now to keep the inside from getting dirty.

Just a great grooming item. Very well made and nicely finished and- most importantly- made in the USA! Feels substantial in the hand, tooth spacing just right and carries nicely in a pocket with the leather pouch.

I've had my comb for a little under a month now, and it is definitely worth the purchase if you want a lifelong comb. It should be noted that my sheath needed some of breaking in (I don't know if color matters but I got the teal sheath). Other than that I've had no problems (no sharp edges or anything).

coolyndonThanks for your comment. Interestingly, the Teal actually has the least "give" of any of the dozen Horween leather sheaths we make. That may explain why it needed more breaking in. The type of leather the Teal sheath is made of, called Latigo, is tighter than Chromexcel or the other Horween leathers we use. Apparently Latigo was originally designed as bridle (horse-riding) leather, so maybe that's why it's made that way. But on the plus side, it's extremely durable.
