Would I need an AMP/DAC to power these? I currently dont have neither, so i'm a bit worried that my motherboard's soundcard(B75M-D3H) wouldn't be able to power them sufficiently as its a cheap motherboard.

PriStolJust look at the impedence. If its under 32 ohms you're good, i think most motherboards are good up to 64 ohms but don't quote me on that. These are 50 ohms so just to be safe you can could/should get a cheap (~$50) portable dac so you can power them on your phone/laptop/tablet, or whatever.
