jimmytthe factor power supply is rather weak, i upgraded my smsl ad18 to a custom power supply and tried out the 6.6a 24v DC (about twice what came with it) supply that it came with and the difference is night and day. with the factory power supply the mx3 would turn off at anything over 76 with my desktop speakers (R-15M) and be a little distorted towards the max. now it goes to 100, no problem and sounds even better.
