Well, That certainly leaves a nasty taste in my mouth. What kind of interest do you think they made holding our collective thousands of dollars for weeks? I don't think that was the original motivation, but I do think they have more experience handling large orders than almost any other organization and I doubt this was handled with the care and attention they expect of themselves. I also doubt they have done enough to make us the customer satisfied over this misdeed; I know I am not.

RollzI'm on the same page as you. Very unsettling. If they had done this with my sennheiser hd650s I would never buy here again. A 10 dollar coupon is not enough. The money they made off holding our money is so much greater than that.

The most frustrating part is I could have ordered it on Amazon instead before the price jumped above $100.

Well I won't be using massdrop again. None of what happened here is acceptable. Being lied to about a "backorder" only makes it worse.

GammagoblnInterestingly, I sent in a complaint to mass drop and i got this in their response: "Regrettably at this time, the vendor does not have more inventory on their end therefore they are not selling the merchandize for a higher valuer and we apologize if you felt that was the case. We thank you for understanding. "
Of course they don't have the merchandise anymore, they either sold items we already bought at the higher price or opened those items looking for the foil lands. MassDrop really needs to hold their sellers to a higher standard than this.

MonkeyoberYeah, pretty had to believe 125 cases were just accidentally sold after they had been earmarked for sale here. That is a full pallet of boxes.

RollzIf the price is right. At the very least the next booster box I buy will be $80. Keep it all in perspective, this sucks a lot but it's not like we need boxes.

There were plenty of opportunities for me to buy from others while my money was held up here. Now, the opportunity has past, and I have nothing. Very disappointed.

Supplier notices the prices of boxes are trending up, cancels the order, then gets to sell the boxes at least 14$ more per unit, and only has to give a 10$ voucher... of which maybe 20% of people will prob utilize? Win-win for the vendor, lose-lose for those of us who purchased. Insult to injury many of us got this drop as a gift for a loved one. Pretty crappy situation. I hate to think the worst of people, but this is pretty cut and dry why the order wasn't fulfilled - $$$$.

My problem is that the price seems unwarranted because it’s an Un set. Silver border cards aren’t legal in any format. like a new set that can be played in standard/modern or a new set of cards that can be used in commander.

How convenient, the drop starts right after the product is released. Then, when the price goes up, due to over-inflated values on Full Art lands, the seller decides " we can make more money", so they cancelled the drop. And figure, why not offer them a $10 credit? Because when they do relist this, it will be at least $30 higher. Never buying Magic the Gathering from Massdrop again.

Hey we saw that this product went up in value so rather than give you what you paid for we are going to credit you so that you can use that credit for a product we can rip you off on.
