TenryuuThe sound. Earbuds were a throwaway item for me. Whatever shipped with phones, pads or My sansa was useless. My go to was the Koss Portapro. I gave in to the hype on headfi, $5.00, not too hard. Out of the box, thick foam, music became such a treat, warm ,clear and lively. Serious grin caused some worry for other folks while I was walking about. While you are enveloped in sound you can hear what's going on around you , like "What do you think he's listening to?" I was busy with my Monks and Radio Paradise and could only reply with an even larger smile. It does make me wonder what their higher end Asura and Zen's sound like....however 5 dolla is 5 dolla...still have the itch, maybe I'll scratch it. Also used with Aune X1S and Project Ember. All good.

TenryuuI am the boss of VE , what others like , u might not ~ so if u think 5usd is a risky investment, plz keep them~i am doing this mostly for my fans in north america who hates my Aliexpress store (and I don't blame them )

geargeekspI REALLY wasn't expecting to see a Massdrop of the Monk, and it looks like you went with a decent color for it. Knowing me, this one'll stay wrapped up while I listen to the Monk+ I already have. One of these days, I'll have to try to track down a Zen 1.0 to hear, as from descriptions I've read it'd be something I hopefully enjoy quite a bit. I got lucky when you sent the extras pack with the Monk+ because I got double the amount of foams I should have, so thank you for that little mix up, will gladly adorn this one in those.

TenryuuIndeed. I am in the UK and it costs $4.75 on top of the $5 to ship to here. Yet I bought two, despite having one already. I wrote the review Massdrop is featuring on the sale page and I can easily attest to how great the quality is - far beyond $5, $10, $15 and beyond.

RorschachDMWell, that's his style for as far as I know of VE. He doesn't sugar coat words and let his products speaks for themselves. And that is one of the reason why he is loved by VE fans up till this day.
