For bass quality, IE80 is the way to go, given that you can live with the recessed vocal.
That recessed vocal cannot be corrected, and can only be minimized by changing cables.
In terms of details, BA used in this Westone is still better.
Also, if run-in times matters to you, IE80 has a long run-in time, while the Westone one take less time enter the usable performance (to run in to optimal status, IE80 take extremely looonnngg time) .
EliteGummybearWestone armature IEMs give a better treble representation and extension than Sennheiser's drivers, IMO. I own W40's and have heard ie80's and ie800's. If you value clear vocals and electronic/percussive instruments, go with any Westone armature. If you value more energetic and thorough bass experience, go with ie 80's.
