How is it that there isn't a single picture of the back of the cards? Are they blank? Is there an image or print there? It seems kind of nuts to me that there is not one single image showing it.
Philip_VSince I have a strong card, I can not "riffle shuffle".
I want to know how strong it is.
I also want to know the strength of the box.
Isn't it broken even if the elephant rides?
There is a defect or burr on the card. It is deadly as a playing card.
This product is Wet Carbon.
Attached several to the frame of my bike with clothespins so they flap against the spokes of my wheels.
When I ride real fast, my bike sounds like a McLaren 570S.
Getting more looks from chics now too.
Definitely worth sixty-bucks.
rugglesC'mon... what do you REALLY need?!?
But I agree, $60 for a deck of cards is pretty ridiculous, but if you're into cards and use them every day... why not?!?
A bike made of CF is more expensive.... ;-)
Quality (paper) player cards have three layers: the two outer layers and a core layer. The core provides the "snap" that makes the cards spring back to the original shape; playing card stock. (Look at the your Magic cards; they have a black core.)
Personally, I'd want to see a video of the cards being shuffled, and a card being bent then snapping back to flat. Sadly, the photos show a banana being sliced instead, which is cool, but not helpful.
Can someone who was in the previous drop let us know if the printing is the outer layer or if there is a layer of something protecting it?
I can see the printing being scrapped away by the edges quite easily.
WhichwaydidheGoSitting with a deck right now. And I've sat for about 1 min just trying to scratch the text of a card with the corner of another, but only a very small of white came off, the text still look as good as new after 1 min of intense corner scratching. I haven't played with them yet, but the red cards so far are hard to read in low light conditions, otherwise no complaints so far.
