Good watch. I am satisfied with the price and performance.
The vintage look and leather strap were not bad either.
It was nice to be able to buy a good watch at a reasonable price.
I like the domed crystal, and the fact that it doesn’t look like any of my other watches, while still avoiding the tacky “fashion” watch look. At 42mm it wears a bit large since there is no bezel so it’s at the upper limit of what my smaller wrists can accommodate.
Pictures are misleading, the face is a silvery color and not at all the white face shown. Was disappointed as I was more interested in the white watch face.
Overall make and finish are good, just misleading pictures.
It's a beautifully designed watch. It's kind of dressy and interesting. It suits my small wrist. But the watch failed after a couple of days of wearing it. The only dial that was still able to be moved was the alarm sub-dial. The main and the other 2 sub-dials stopped. So I took it to an old watchmaker as I did not want to pay for shipping and repair cost to the authorised repairer. Yes, I checked. I only received the watch on 12 Jun 2019. The old watchmaker said the battery still has very good charge, but movement locked up. He fixed it and only charge me 20 bucks.
So that is 2 out of 3 European watches that failed me in less than 3 months owning them. Never had one failed Japanese watch on me yet (touch wood). I am very wary of purchasing European watches from now on.
Also, another lesson is that if you are an Australian customer, your watch purchase from Drop is not covered by warranty. In my experience anyway.
Aby_AunJust a local independent watchmaker in Perth. Are you in Perth? If so, he got a little shop on Canning Highway called "Just On Time Watchmaker".
Really love the watch. Would have loved it 1-2mm smaller, and would have rather gone with the leather strap instead. However nothing wrong with the mesh strap, it's actually great.
