Hey, just for fun I'm doing a poll. If one really enjoy it's iems but there is a crack like that in the faceplate, would you a- let it go and enjoy the music b-ask to return them c-ask for a discount. The input from Rudy AAW is welcome as well! : )
Pierre111I'd probably send it back, depending on how deep the crack goes. Don't want half the faceplate falling off randomly. If it's just on the surface and the faceplate is firmly attached, I'd leave it.
Pierre111Hi Pierre, are you referring to the visible straight line in the faceplate? MOP faceplates are made from nature shells, which also means they are put together from multiple pieces, that line seems to be the conjunction line. You are welcome to send it back and replace it with a less visible one. However, I do not think it will anywhere affect integrity of the faceplate.
UzuzuIt is easier said than done given there is no actual quality issue here. However, should you have any service requests, feel free to contact our service team via email. We are always there to help:)
kevin_aawI'll keep it, because I don't want to wait and I agree that it doesn't change the sound and it's covered with a layer of whatever resin the buds are made of, I know full well it's not gonna fall appart. But, I have to disagree with you, the pattern continue from one side to the next, it's the same piece with a crack in the middle, the right side is perfect, and certainly doesn't look like multiple pieces juxtaposed to each other, comon...there would be discontinuities I don't believe for a second you guys dig trough numerous mini pieces and achive to build a puzzle with a result so perfect...Nature have way to be harmonious... That being said I'm very happy with them, and don't want to criticize your work, those are beautiful quality pieces...But it's a crack...No big deal.
I guess, I don't know what MOP is but it's LX 03 with smoked black, the only little thing I done is a red tip for the right side, to have an instant visual of which is which. Like the look yeah
