Will everyone around me be able to hear what I am listening to even at minor volume? I am thinking if this will work okay as an office can.

dlpowered89The bigger problem with using them as an office can is the sound leaking IN. These cans are amazingly detailed and revealing and it's one of their main strengths. When you have background noise washing out the details, you lose a lot of what makes these good.
I'd suggest a solid closed can for work. I use a SoundMAGIC HP100, which is a huge bargain if you can get one of the $130 refurbs off Amazon Warehouse. Even at MSRP, it's a great can though. They've dropped them before too, IIRC. Might see if they can bring it back...
