Do these run true to size? I wear other Altra shoes, but I sometimes wear different sizes in different models.

rawbeanThese fit true to size. I wear size 8.5 in dress shoes and 9 in running shoes, size 8.5 worked fine for me.

rawbeanUsing Vans as my bread and butter, I wear an 11.5. These in 11.5 fit great; I have them in green from 6pm.

MezzThey can be worn without socks but I’d reccomend wearing them just to keep them “fresher” longer

I hate to be one of THOSE people, but these are $40 over at REI. Even with the $20 shipping to Norway for me specifically, I still saved six bucks buying them from REI compared to Massdrop...

If I wear a size 12 in the lone peak 4.0, is it safe to assume a size 12 Vali would also fit?

RaksasaI just got mine from REI (took an insane SIX days including easter-days and weekend, to ship all the way from Pennsylvania to my address in Norway - fastest I've ever experienced).
I also have a pair of Altra Lone Peak 4, in 8.5 which fit perfectly, so I bought these Valis in 8.5 as well. They fit like a glove. I certainly wouldn't go a size *down* from this, it'd be too tight of a squeeze.
I think you should go with the size you use with your Lone Peaks.

I already have the green men's 9.5 (27.5 cm foot) and would like the light grey ... is the women's size 11 the same shoe as a men's 9.5 or is the shape different? Also, any chance of doing a Lone Peak 4.0 drop?

AXJKI doubt there will be a Lone Peak 4.0 drop in the near future, keep checking back though!
The men's and women's shoes are pretty different. On the main banner image you'll see the green shoe on the left is men and the shoes in the middle and on the right are women's so be aware of that! However, if you don't mind that the styles are completely different, a men's size 9.5 does translate to a women's size 11

Confused with the shoe size available, if I usually buy 10.5 will the 10 red work for me? Are they bigger than usual/smaller than usual? Thanks.
