Ruike knife is also made in the boker factory in China...which somehow has better fit and finish than some of the Boker china.... I think all the shitty Made in China knives are meanly come from USA brand...All the Chinese brands are better, like WE, Kizer, Steel will ect... Shitty one are most likely be Gerber made in china, CRKT made in China, or some Byrd line from spyderco... I think it is not hard to understand... A Chinese company that try to make their own name will actually care about what they put out there. However, when they just make things for a brand in an other country...they don't give a fuck, and why would they...

WHO is it made by is a much more important question. There are some companies like Boker that make knives in different countries, so in that case, WHERE becomes important. I agree with the content of your post. It's always refreshing to see appropriate posts.

Anyone else finds the holes in the titanium version's scale silly and unnecessary - and even ugly?
I mean this is a small knife, and titanium is light by nature. Why not keep the scale plain, similar to the lock side? Smooth titanium is so beautiful!

The full size is absolutely my favorite gentleman's edc blade. It's perfect...right side, tip up carry, deep clip, flipper. And, the blade is almost as long as the handle, so you get lots of edge for the carry size. It's ultralight and slim (and, with the cocobolo scales on mine, rather classy).
Is the mini cooler than the full size? I paid $65 for mine.

SawatchFactoryI love mine in cocobolo. The scales were very "sharp" on arrival, nothing a little gently applied 1000 grit sand paper didn't solve almost instantly though. It is reserved for classier functions. At this point in it's life it has only cut a handful of things.
Basically, it is a beautiful pampered princess. VG-10 is not my favorite steel by FAR, but my god the looks.

$70 seems a little steep for a small knife with G-10 handles and a VG-10 blade. But then again, I love Delicas, so who am I to complain :)

KrozinSame here. I have got the trapper and the gentleman version with Cocobolo. I want to complete it with this petite version.

I love this knife. For me it ticks almost all the boxes for a M-F EDC.
Its so small and light weight, I never notice its there. If I do break it out in the office i think it has a gentlemanly, non-intimidating look. Deep carry pocket clip keeps it from getting tangled in your pocket and readily available yet doesn't advertise you are carrying a knife to others. Its also easy to open and close with one hand which I like.
I had the original trapper but it always looked like a fruit knife to me and the long narrow blade was a little awkward for detailed tasks. The petite seems better proportioned to me.
My biggest gripe is the price. I think it's too expensive and it certainly shouldn't cost more than its big brother. I keep this knife limited to gentle use because I am afraid to break it or wear it out through excessive sharpening. If these ever drop down to the $30ish price range I'd buy a hand-full of them.

A great looking knife to carry. Super lightweight, very classy look. I would carry in an office environment, out to a nice dinner or at a wedding. It's the perfect groomsmen gift.
I got the carbon fibre version and it is a bit sharp around the edges and the CF a bit dull compared to my other CF scaled knives (ZT). Lock up and centering is good and it came with a good edge. It came sticky to flip but has loosened up a bit with a light application of knife lubricant. Still not the easiest or smoothest to flip, especially considering it runs on bearings but it's probably to do with it's diminutive size and tiny flipper tab. Need to flick the wrist to get a good smooth flip. Again, it's a great looking knife but does feel a bit rough around the edges. At this price point I would expect a nicer finish, feels a bit cheap.

Muki89I ordered one from BW last year and don't have any issues. The CF is Matte, but that's just the way unfinished CF looks.
My action is super smooth and will open just pressing the tab, almost looks like an assisted when I do it.
That being said I only paid 75$ at BW for the CF one so this seems more expensive.
