I haven't used it much yet but I love it so far. Beauty and the beast all in one.
I wish there was either an option for a lefty shesth or an option to buy without a sheath. I have a pile of right handed sheaths I never use.

2+ years of use so far:
Simply superb knife. Solid construction. Very thick blade that can handle many types of tasks. Only slight con is the sheath. Definitely lacking, but doesn't detract from the awesome blade at all.

My Fällkniven A1Z arrived earlier than the quoted ship date so Kudos to Massdrop. I knew it would be a quality knife because I already own the F1Z, but it exceeded my expectations. This thing is a beast and with the 1/4" thick blade, it should be able to take anything you throw at it. Mine came scary sharp right out of the box. The only thing I will probably do is replace the Zytel sheath with a Kydex sheath. The Zytel is functional, but I would like to have a Kydex sheath with a Dangler setup and provisions for a Ferro Rod. Thanks Massdrop!

Great knife. Very sharp. Handle is very comfortable. Used it to fight my way through Charlie on the assault on hamburger hill. This bad boy won’t let you down when you’re in a tough spot.

An excellent and rugged design. If there comes a time in your life that you must go "ALL IN," putting all your chips on the table, then this is the Survival Knife you can depend on. I Have RANDAL Attack/Survival, STRIDER, USMC BUCK Talon, and of course a KABAR. This knife fits the bill for me most of the time. An overall excellent performer.
In addition, there is a fella on ETSY that builds a Kydex sheath for this knife in OD Green. I purchased it. It is an excellent build and very cost effective.

Great Blade
Received very sharp and holds and edge very well. I do not have any sharpening experience with a convex edge, so I will need to watch some you tube videos on how it is done.
