A medium-sized fixed blade fit for the great outdoors, the Fallkniven Kolt KKLz is made with the company’s laminated cobalt steel, which is hardened to 60 on the Rockwell scale for an edge that’ll hold through taxing work and light duty. At 3.4 inches, the blade is large enough to handle most tasks, like shaving wood, piercing cans, cutting rope, and more Read More
These guys make beautiful knives and this is one is no exception. They are a bit pricey but in my opinion worth the price. The only drawback is that they are so nice you almost don’t want to use them.
Nevermind the fact that Drop uses Fed-Ex and it took 16 days to be delivered compared to what it takes the USPS which is 3 days for the same trip. My issue is this $250 knife is brand new but has a 5mm long rollover in the convex edge near the hilt. Where is the quality control? It's not like I can fix it on my KME because it'

s convexed. I don't blame Drop but I'm blown away that a Fallkniven came so imperfect! This is probably my last purchase here.
blendergasketI know just never used one before so I'm an amateur in that sense. It will get used and sharpened eventually just disappointing from such a high end manufacturer to get a damaged factory edge. Looked into it a bit and Fällkniven basically state that every blade that comes out of there is perfect and any damage comes from the middlemen so no help there.
I initially thought I would probably want to use this with the leather sheath rather than the plastic blade guard, but after a while it turned out to be more useful in a pocket than dangling. I’m not used to a small fixed blade (I’ve carried folders for most of my life) but it hides in my pocket and doesn’t have a clip to announce itself, plus the crazy sharp edge makes for a very handy little knife. The handle is reasonably grippy and comfortable, though I might eventually need to look into a different blade guard; I’m not sure how long I would want to trust the plastic. Overall a great little knife.
Haven't had a lot of time to use it hard, but it's small enough for every day carry and use especially with the little plastic blade cover. It fits nicely in my back pocket or even the front pockets of a pair of chinos. I do love the convex edge. A couple of swipes on 3000 grit and it's like new. I highly recommend it for anyone needing a solid but relatively short blade. It will probably replace a number of my pocket knives.
This is an interesting design - it's just big enough to be versatile and small enough to be non-intrusive. I prefer the leather sheath, but would like to see it without the hinged top piece. Fills a nice spot as a middle weight.
This small knife fits perfectly in my XL- glove sized hands. It comes with a high-quality leather sheath as well as a plastic blade guard that permits discreet pocket carry without the sheath. It is perfect for small camping and everyday tasks, takes a sharp edge and holds it well. If you like the design and size of this small knife, do not hesitate.
