If you want to wear it as your everyday/field watch, I recommend you wait for the combat 6 vintage, it have sapphire crystal top and a day window which makes it a better day to day companion

Just ordered one with the olive NATO strap. Would love to be able to purchase a black strap separately, as well.
This over a Hamilton KHAKI?

Unfortunately "no." I purchased this watch last year, and returned it shortly after receiving it. I liked the overall appearance of the watch with its no-date dial, the size was great (for my 7 1/4" wrist), and loved the hesalite crystal! The problems I had with the watch were as follows: It ran -18 seconds per day, the manual winding was not smooth, the green "NATO" strap on it had a STRONG chemical smell, and the date mechanism / wheel was still installed beneath the dial. I wanted to love the watch, but it just didn't meet my expectations, even for $300. This is not the case with all Glycine watches, as my Wife has a 36mm Combat 6 that is just lovey. I purchase the no-date version of the Hamilton Khaki Field Mechanical (H69429931) earlier this year, and love it! It is the watch I wanted the Glycine to be. It has a ETA 2801.2 hand wound movement, is slightly smaller at 38mm, has a bead-blasted case, and has a sapphire crystal. It does cost a little more money. But, it is well worth it in my opinion!
Here's a wrist shot for you. The one thing I did have to replace on the Hamilton was the NATO that it came with, as it was just a little too short for my wrist.
I could not see this watch on the official Glycine site. Is this a superseded model?

This watch was previously discontinued. It has not been on the Glycine website for sometime.
Does invicta own massdrop ?

But this is an old logo pre-invicta model,
Invicta owns glycine

So what?
I got this watch in a drop a year ago. The dial looks great but the crystal has cracked twice just in everyday use. Glycine wouldn’t cover under warranty; $150 to replace. I’d hold out for a sapphire Combat if you like it. (This particular watch cannot take a sapphire crystal due to the bezel design.)

thank you, was doing research on whether the crystal can be upgraded and this is the deal breaker. Will wait for these to drop to $200 lol

Nice looking watch, a shame that the crystal can't be upgraded to sapphire. As teioh3 noted, a deal-breaker. Thanks for the info.
Massdrop....another glycine ???

Well, this one is the one to have, really versatile, the only 2 things i would improve is the strap stitching and a sapphire glass, everything else is amazing

You can wait for the Combat 6 Vintage to get the sapphire glass and a better strap :)

Melliferous
