People on this website have [different opinions and desires than myself], you don't live in the Matrix[or do you?], you look like [an adventurer] in these sunglasses. Also you dont need a hunting knife you're [having a blast with friends playing] magic the gathering.

a little of everything honestl, I bring it with me for camping and longer hikes as general perpouse knife, curring rope, kindling, clearing brush, and also around the house anytime a smaller knife just won't do the trick.

I can tell you I am happy to see those glasses coming for sales. The first time I saw such glasses was in the 80s, my dad who actually comes from the jura mountain region would always were them for skying. They are really the best you can have when out on the slopes.

Those are the ugliest glasses I have ever seen. You couldn't pay me to wear these things.

MrxMrpIf they aren't your style, why come here and crap on them? Are you that desperate to spread your vitriol?

groberts1980Isn't that what the internet is for? Are we not a part of a society building itself on social platforms of attention deficit disorderly public shaming? I mean, you're doing it right now.

The fairing around the sides is critical when hiking/skinning above treeline in snowy conditions, hence why these are typically referred to as glacier glasses. Without the wind stoppers your eyes water up from the wind and you cant see anything.

Got the black yesterday evening and wore them driving to work. Love the side shields for the winter days and low sun angle. Will post a review after a few days. Packing was great!
I don't turn my head unless I except to see something.

How good are these for doing an ocular pat down and threat assessment?

LPeezy21I mean, you'd be able to clock threats at a mile away I'd imagine at the very least.

They're not polarized and also aren't recommended for driving. Spectron 4 lenses are too dark. Julbo makes a Spectron 3 lens that's polarized and OK for driving. I have a pair of these. They're best for extremely bright conditions. In bright sun and snow, your eyes are completely relaxed. No squinting.

My eyes are so sensitive that I am nearly blind without polarized lenses. I won't drive without them.
