My review started a 3 star but changes to a 4 after I reworked the knife. My choice was plain gray titanium as I did a custom distress two pass anodize. My main issue with the knife is that, much like others have mentioned, the detent is overly strong and not in a good or "safe" way. The detent ball is too small / detent hole in the blade too large but either way, the lockbar sat way too low, in fact on mine it looks like the lock bar is touching the blade when closed!
To remedy the situation I had two options, I could try peening the detent hole smaller so i could retune the detent strength or I could try adding a slight ramp to the detent hole. I chose to do the latter because it was easier and it would not rule out the first option if not successful. I'm happy to say a very slight chamfering of the detent hole on the side facing the edge worked. It still didn't solve the lockbar sitting so low but, it isn't leaving scratches on the blade or creating drag that I can tell. The flipping action is now finger tip friendly without being too weak.

Love it
This is my second Drop/FF/WE collaboration (the other being the Buc) and I love them both. The Falcon is a smig shorter than I would like but my hands are massive (2-3XL gloves depending on brand). The action is amazing and quality is outstanding.

DYAWreckI like the looks of the Falcon but will not buy due to the size. I usually need at least 3 1/2" for the knife to be reasonably comfortable in my hands. If they increased the size and were able to keep it around 4 oz, I would buy it in a second.
I do own the Buck. Smallish but great knife overall.

Sleek and sexy
Initial impression as I have had her for less than a day. Very positive first impression. Looks fantastic. Much better ergos than I would have thought. Nice full finger choil. Detent is very stiff and can't even come close to Spydie flicking her open. On the other hand, a strong detent means the flipper will deploy the blade reliably 100% of the time. Best part is I got her for $100, 33% off. There is a dark blue version that I hope goes on a similar sale.

Love this knife
This is my 3rd Falcon. I lost my first one and replaced it with the wing edition. I picked up the third one as a back up because the idea of not having this knife in the event I lost it again, was not appealing. The control you get from the choil is amazing. The buttery smooth operation of opening and closing is perfect every time. You can easily open and close this knife with one hand. It's solid and beefy but not too bulky. It sits a bit high when clipped to the pocket; about 3/4 of an inch. Depending on the pocket, it can be in the way if you're reaching for anything deep in the pocket like a cell phone. Having said that, I've found that a cell phone in the same pocket as a knife is usually a recipe for a scratched phone. I own roughly 100 knives, but don't consider myself a knife snob. I haven't paid more than $175 for a blade, so my experience and opinion are relative to that price range. This is the best blade I've owned, hands down.

Nice knife. I am kind of new to the knife collection game but you need to keep this thing clean in order to keep the bearings running smooth. Which is common knowledge to people who have been collecting longer. Besides that there is a definite difference in the advertised bronze color compared to what you will receive. Otherwise its a solid product.

I love the design and action of this Falcon Wing. It is not for everyone especially those seeking a light and thin pocket knife but I heard a lot of FF to know what I was getting for blade thickness, weight, etc. For a small/medium size hand it fits me well.

I backed the original Falcon, before this design came out, and it quickly became my favorite because of all of these crazy made-up words like jimping and choil. But the clip was too thin and it loosened up on me, falling out of my pocket and eventually working its way loose several times until I lost it (I think in a theater).
This one is just like the knife I loved and lost, but it feels even nicer in the hand, and the black blade looks great.
