GudedomoI tested the all jh audios ( my rating is Angie-->Layla--> Roxanne ) and I gotta say, the noble k10's sound better than all of them in my opinion. ( I like heavy bass and crystal clear vocals but not sharp pitch/hertz notes.)
ignitedI really do love the Roxanne II's I've got the A&K version paired previously with the AK380 now with the new SP1000. The Layla wasn't for me at all, it sounded so boring. I'm looking forward to the K10's for sure :) I listen to everything from from Pop/Heavy Bass/Rock to Acoustics and Orchestrals. The Roxanne II's were a huge step up from the SE846's.
djcarpentierwhups sorry, the way I have worded it might have been a bit confusing , i'll clarify a bit, I rated the Roxanne better than the Layla's despite Layla's being totl for JH AUDIO.
However, ( On personal preference) I enjoyed the noble audio's k10's since they had better bass notes compared to the roxanne's ( even with the bass controller turned up ). But then again I tried all of these two years ago in Japan and only tried the Roxanne I's. It's personal preference but I think there is a difference between the two and can't seem to rate one better than the other.
djcarpentierYeah its definitely a different feel , no kidding. I do think JH audio surpasses noble audio in soundstage but it's barely noticable. ( that's also what jh audio specializes in, so no surprises there). I'm an avid headfi user and go to canjam alot, tried all the totl iems from a-z and noble audio is definitely high up there.
But regardless, this deal is insane. I can tell you that brennan gonna get alot of nasty hate comments about the sale haha.
