Mohannad13IEM are inherently better for mobile setups with their lightweight and more discrete profile. It is definitely something that just comes down to preference.
Mohannad13If you've seen the price for some IEMs and CIEMs, you'd notice this isn't that crazy for what is in offer here. Same with headphones and much worse for loudspeakers.
Mohannad13think of it as people buying rolexes, exotic cars and what not.
is it technically better than a 100usd pair? yes
is it objectively better than a 500usd pair? probably not (but they'll tell you it is, then post here about the "normal" manufacturing defects)
does it cost a fraction in material (and even labor and research)? yup. check check.
is it hype and fancy? absolutely. can it go higher? it can always go higher. there's 1000-2000usd super fancy and cool looking ones. does this make it more special? of course!
would i buy it? no, im reading comments for fun, i'm happy with my comparatively cheap in ear headphones.. err i mean in ear monitors.
anyway, just agreeing with you and all here, but if people want to put 900usd into it, that's their money and choices. i'd put 9000usd in a bike, and it's definitely not "good value" either. In fact, arguably, that's a lot more money.
Mohannad13I have the U8s and honestly they were worth every penny. Now i tried the katanas and are they worth the 1850 in my book? not really but if they were in the 1100-1500 then maybe so getting the higher end of the nobles at this price to me is a steal. If the Katanas ever go on sale here am i gonna get them oh definatly
kangsterBest comment i have ever read
I agree with you totally
I would never allocate more than 40$ for IEMs and now I am using sony xb50ap it is durable but it sounds like water it has no color no test just sound belat!
Mohannad13You either haven’t heard more expensive IEMs, have hearing difficulties or trolling. $40 is very far from the point of diminishing returns. sony xb50ap is even farther.
