I have received pair of those and finally was able to try them yesterday, playing games. (Thanks, customs!)
When it comes to comfort, I like them. I have rather small head - to the point sometimes I resort to buying kid's sizes. These sit around ears and clamping force is strong enough to keep them even on my head. I find it OK, but I see this being uncomfortable for people with larger heads.
As for sound ... well, I am no audiophile and my experience with either pair of 'better' headphones, or gaming headset, is limited to Sennheiser HD575 (a unique and controversial kind of headphones as I learned many years after happily using them LOL), and HyperX Stinger as entry-level gaming headset. These sound more ... bassy than HD575. Not muffled, clear enough, just ... different. Maybe that's the "adjusted for gaming"? Speech in games and voice chat is clear, that's important. And they sound better than Stinger, definitely. I also appreciate they are open.
I haven't heard any complaints regarding microphone, and my tests on computer and Skype test calls were good.
All in all, I like them and will be using them. I ordered second set even.

crawlerinI can comment and say that with a relatively large head, i've been using these for a couple of weeks and so far the clamping pressure is too much. Head hurts within an hour or two, sometimes quicker. Going to try and "stretch" them over a box, but low expectations considering the band is plastic.
