What color did you guys buy for her and why?
I kind of wanna buy the mesh bracelet but feel that's my personal tastes taking over..... red might be the best option?
Edit: I went with Red.
joined drop and cancelled immediately after reading horror stories of watch breaking short time after buying and costing money to fix.
My wife has wanted a mondaine for a while. But I think I will get the original womens version rather than this evo petite. I feel this may have been built at the expense of build quality and the details looks poor on these watches. The bigger ones seem to have better finishing. Also the lugs on these are too chunky in proportion to the case size.
Which one is your order? I got White Dial, Red Leather Strap .

Same, was drawn to the bracelet but felt she'd want bright colors on a strap instead.
stop to go movement?

I don't think so.
This is just my opinion, but those tiny ladies' watches are just too small. I'm seeing a lot more ladies' watches in the 36mm range. This is a good thing as those microscopic ladies' watches are hard to read.

I've gifted small ladies watches to a lot of my friends and my girlfriend. As long as the dial is clear (such as in this Mondaine or the Timex Easy Reader) its quite legible at a small size.

This watch is not hard to read at its size at all. Very readable.
If I rotate the dial 180 degrees, will it give me the time 6 zones away?
According to Rhonda (on it's 763 and 763E movements) if you wear this watch with the stem pulled out to the setting position, you'll consume 70% less battery. And I sincerely doubt whether this watch case has any shielding on it whatsoever but I've been unable to confirm this as of yet.
Unfortunately, the watch just stopped working today 17 Apr 2018. I only got it since 22 Jan 2018.

Thanks mate. Points taken. I wasn't to know that the battery might've been the cause as it was a new watch purchased from MD, one would've expected that the battery would not just die after 8 weeks or so.
And I'm no watch expert and no tools to do it with and would've expected there were some warranty that came with purchasing a Mondaine.

No worries pal, a lot of these bargain watches with no warranties are through the grey market.
In other words say Brand X sold a watch to JCpenny and it sat there for 2 years.... well they're obligated to buy so many watches over a set time frame to remain as an Authorized Dealer. Thus, since they bought the watch at a much cheaper price than you they turn around and sell it to a Jomashop, Creation Watches, or sell in mass through a Massdrop, Touch of Modern.
Anyhow the point is, it's new as in no one wore it..... but it still spent some time in disuse.
These Evo Petite watches here have since been replaced by a new version with a sapphire glass, so these older Evo Petites need to be sold off to make way for the newer ones.
Therefore, who knows where the watch has been or how old it is. The grey market is always risk.....
Also, the people at the repair facilities make mistakes all the time and a little white lie to slack off or cover something up isn't uncommon.
Just received it. It looks pretty, hopefully my lady will like it on Valentine. Cheers Massdrop!
This is a great deal!
Very cute watch, and the price can't be beat. Valentines Day? But the last two gifts I gave my wife were watches, so maybe I need to switch it up a little.
Cloaca
Yeah, same.
