Thanks a lot to Massdrop for the unbelievable price - I certainly wouldn't (and couldn't) have bought this at MRP.
The pen looks absolutely stunning in blue. Light and balanced, both posted and otherwise. The nib just glides on paper!
A bit of bleed when used on Moleskine but works beautifully on Rhodia and Tomoe River [using Private Reserve Velvet Black].
The #4 nib feels small atop this pen - I would've preferred a #6 [and in fine instead of the medium].
Certainly a collectors' item; I still prefer the Diplomat Aero over this for my everyday use.
This pen is a thing of beauty. The 18k nib is both stunning in detail and smooth like baby oil. I selected the blue resin version and the color variation shifts between blue and grey with a pearlised finish that you need to see up close to appreciate. What I didn't realize, but was pleasantly surprised is that the accents are sterling silver. As a result, it is a little heavy to write with posted but that I'm getting used to it. Thrilled at the deal this was at MD as paying USD 850 for this would have been much beyond my means of reason.
