MatparI was offered a return or a $20 refund on the case, I went with the refund. I feel they should have had the vendor replace the missing part as it was advertised with the case and the fact that it was shipped without one, and not just to one customer, means it is likely that more people will come here reporting this same issue. It would have been nice to have but I like having the player more than the case.
Waynerm002exactly. the options should be a refund or send the missing leather case. what about people who paid customs based on the full price charged for the device and accessories? just had a quick look online and a leather case for this costs way more than $20. sale of goods by description clearly breached by the vendor but remedial options do not offer fair compensation to the buyer. why should the innocent party be made to bear the cost and trouble of returning the item when the mistake was by the vendor?
JabberwockerEw. I agree, any refund should be enough to buy a case of equal quality, or offer to just send a case. If the vendor/Opus wants to save money and just refund the “manufacturing cost” of the case, they could at least provide a link to buy a case at the same cost as the refund... maybe with a one-time use coupon code to make sure the “at cost” option isn’t abused?
