i have a problem with my amp, the power plug won't go inside all the way.

the amp is working perfect but i don't know if it safe to use like this.
can someone check his own plug? someone know what to do?
liorsa01
mine does the exact same thing, i have had zero issues with it. i dont see it being a problem unless something metal is jammed in there.

This or the Objective 2?
This vs the Dac x6 from Fx audio?

Thanks a lot for your detailed answer!

Just a quick follow up...I tested my SAP-II connected to my computer's headphone jack which is backed up by a Realtek ALC 889 DAC (which is supposed to be pretty good for onboard audio) and compared it to my DAC X6 connected via USB. I listed to FLAC files via Foobar 2000 with my HiFiMan HE-4XX. DAC X6 to me was a clear winner; lush, richer sound, better separation, tighter bass. The ALC 889 with SAP-II was a bit hot on the top end and quickly fatiguing. Inner details like sound dissipating after the initial hit aren't present. This is not so much a strike against the SAP-II as it is just amplifying the source; actually highlighting issues with the onboard DAC. While the DAC X6 doesn't measure as well as other external DACs, it is a step above onboard audio. As far as amplification goes, it seems to me they are in the same ballpark.
This is my first upgrade after I got the fiio e10k, which I plan to use just as a dac via the line out in the back with this. I hope this works :P
The question is - is it 1000W per chanel or 500+500W?
any comparisons to the SAP VI, Objective 2 or Magni?
Just picked up a couple of these. Connecting both to a Topping D10 so that I can run 2 different cans simultaneously from the same source. This is for a shared listening and headphone testing station.
Would this work well with astell and kern t8ie mkii and smsl idea dac amp ? the iems are 16 ohms, does this sap 2 amp only work with 32 ohms, the mkii is 16 ohms ?
rosrock2000
should work, but there might be just the slightest amount of distortion. also, you would have to turn the wolume down a lot, both source and amp.
Trying to use this to make akg k7xx louder from Xbox one x controller. Is that going to work? Or is there a better solution. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Is this better than FX audio X6 ?
Mohannad13
Hard to compare as this is just an amount while x6 is more like a dac
Buying from ebay it cost exactly the same with free postage from China to Australia and they provide one year warranty. Am I missing something here? Here in massdrop supposed to be cheaper or am I wrong?
Would this make a perceptible difference to consumer-grade headphones like Sennheiser 400-series? If so, is there an affordable DAC that works with iPhones and pairs well with this amp?
Hi, Does anyone know if this is a good amp for the beyerdynamic dt 990 pro 250 ohm? Or should i go with something like the xDuoo TA-01?

I owned TA-01 before. All I can say is that it is super powerful but that's it. Sound wise I don't find it very appealing. Even as a hybrid I can hardly tell the tube effect to be honest, but it could be just me. Can't comment much on sap2. The only smsl product I have is VA2 and this one is a mile better than TA-01 imo even though it is not even as half powerful as TA-01. Sounds very clean and crisp. A little bit bright and mid forward, just a little bit. Pairs pretty well with my m40x and 880 600ohm.
