The problem with this cable is that the ends by the headphone connectors where they are heatshrinked are 3in long and they hit you in the shoulder when you use it.
MechChiaThanks for the reply, thats really cool but i just checked the pricing of these cables and it said they are like 50 usd+ ?? :o so am i getting something wrong or? i'd love to pick these up for 6xx but not at those prices!
Edit: I see they are handmade i guess, is this standard pricing in that case? i'm not familiar with after market cables. I also see it only ends in a 4 pin, are there no options for 6.3 or 3.5 mm for HD6xx?
NorthernElkI am not sure if it is justifiable to purchase a cable that cost $50 USD + and I got no idea about the sound quality as well since the HD6XX will take a few more weeks to ship. I am into keyboards too and a custom USB to USB cable can easily cost £20.
I have not received my cable yet which landed in my country 2 days ago, probably will get it later or tomorrow, so I have not seen this personally. But from the pictures posted, it looks very well made and will definitely look and feel better than the stock rubbery cable provided with the HD6XX.
The HD6XX also came with the 3.5mm connector and most amplifier(not balanced) uses the 6.3mm connector which is one of the main reason why I bought this. I would like to avoid using adapter as much as I can because they do not look good.
There is no 3.5mm connector for this but I am pretty sure the 6.3mm connector was available but sold out. If you scroll down the list you will see it.
