From the makers of the original Swiss Army Knife comes the SwissTool Spirit. Loaded with 22 tools in a compact package, the Spirit has everything you need to tackle virtually any job Read More
WheelBugI think the serrated blade makes more sense than a plain edge on this tool. If you normally carry a plain edge pocket knife in addition to a multi tool, the tool offers you something different in a serrated blade. If the multi tool is your only knife, it's probably best that it's serrated, because face it, x55CrMo14 has the edge retention of damp toast. Those serrations will at least still cut, if not cleanly, when the plain edge would have long given up.
I have one of these, bought in a store. It's a very high quality tool, very well made and it shows.
It's a tad on the heavy side, however, so for traveling I ended up buying a Leatherman Juice CS4 (with beautiful blue scales). Most of the time I end up reaching for the Leatherman over the Victorinox... But both are great!
JosephVTrojanI'm with you on the lame butterblade but I'll give it a shot. I carry a knife anyway and I'm sure the Spirit will have the fit and finish of other Victorinox products.
I just got this a week ago from a different site and have no complaints at present. I already have a swisstool and another Leatherman (not wave) and prefer this more than the leatherman
I would like to see a drop of the Swisstool Spirit X (without this dumb serrated blade) and of the Swisstool X (larger version, still without a serrated blade).
One day maybe...
The_ButcherBeautiful, slick and perfectly finished product by Victorinox. The Swiss-made quality shows. It even has a classy touch in its design and the leather pouch ;-)
