Sizing options weren’t accurate. So I’ll have to order another/different size. EDIT: When I sent an email as requested to the address below, I received superior customer service from Avonlea & Mike. Sometimes, with Massdrop and sites like it, one worries that behind the "branding" you really don't know what you are getting yourself into. In the case of CarbonTactics, from my experience, you are getting quality people who stand behind their product. Took care of all of my issues, with ZERO cost to me. As a small business owner myself, I know mistakes happen. I'd imagine especially so when dealing with a project of this size and scope. You can often tell more about a company when a mistake occurs, especially an easy one like a shipping snafu, than when it all goes right. While I haven't worn the belts enough to give a review of their effectiveness, I can say definitively that in the event I had any problem with them, I KNOW I'd receive superior customer service. Tough to put a price on that.

Infinitely Adjustable, wears well
I like that I can set the position exactly where I want it as opposed to relying on pre-spaced holes in a traditional belt. Others have said the buckle will revert back to its old position in the case of needing to tighten or loosen, but I found a slight application of heat from a hairdryer or heat gun gets the stiffer material to set to the new position. I bought one with the first drop and have been waiting for them to come back, so I'm grabbing two more this time around so I can work these into all my clothing color options.

This is my every-day since I got it. I love the stiffness of the strap (even in the single) for holding stuff up. As others have mentioned, the buckle does not stay put. For me it does not slip under load, it only wanders when I'm trying to hook the belt. I also think the beak on the hook could be less pointy and more smooth.

Ok. Now I love this product even more. Just amazing service from the Carbon Tactics team. My order was initially messed up and they made it right when MD couldn't. The belt is just as advertised. I got the single strap and it is super sturdy. I can't imagine how tough the double strap must be. The aluminum hook is great and I'm waiting for the titanium one in the mail. I have put the one I have through the paces and it is tough enough on its own. I loved this product so much, I pledged to their Kickstarter campaign for their Epoch belt. I won't be buying tactical belts from anyone else.

magoazulHey Magoazul, Shoot an email over to sales@carbontactics.com, and I'll help you out with your order. Unfortunately, several people got the incorrect order on the last drop, but unless you message us at Carbon Tactics directly, we have no way of getting in touch. I am so sorry about the mix up, it's definitely not like us at all, and we are doing our best to make it right. :) Avonlea

Not very functional as an actual belt
The buckle sets in wherever you put it and if you want to adjust it later it will constantly slip back to where you broke it in. That and the fact that the extra material runs under the belt buckle means whenever you use the bathroom you either have a long dangling piece in front of you or if you leave it looped under and just expand it a bit you have a large loop in front of you. Long story short I've peed on this belt countless times. More hassle than its worth to be quite honest. The first thing a belt should be is functional, it should adjust to where you want it and stay there and this belt fails at that. For the record I've owned it for over a year.

Functionality a Problem
Once the buckle position is set the first time the stiff material sets and it is impossible to adjust to a tighter position -the buckle just slips back to the original.

That’s fine if your idea of fun is ironing a nylon belt once a week. I think this just underscores the fact that it is a poor design concept.

PHDGYou never mentioned adjusting once a week in your original post. I wouldn't have mentioned it had you said that. Why are you adjusting an EDC belt once a week? I don't think you can fault the design just because it doesn't suit your particular need. For me, it's a gun belt. I'll probably never adjust it again past initial set, which I originally got wrong but ironed it out.

Myself & 93 others overpaid for this in the March drop. It's overpriced. It's bulky. It's uncomfortable. The photos don't show the size, it's big. I paid $58.99 for the Ti Hook & BioThane strap. You can't easily adjust this belt. The strap is on the inside, so, when it loosens over the first hour(it will) you have to unbuckle it, then adjust it, then buckle it again. It does this all day, and you will have to adjust it as well. I'm putting mine on ebay, hopefully someone will pay most of the cost.

I got the titanium buckle and biothane strap. I like the look and the feel of the biothane. It's pretty floppy, but I guess that's my fault for not reading the description better. Should have gone with nylon. The hook on the buckle is way more difficult to get through the loop in the end of the strap than I would have thought. This also might not be an issue on the nylon, it might just be binding on the coating on the outside of the strap. It's not super tacky though, so that might just be the way that it works. Wearing the belt itself is where it really falls apart. I can't get it to stay tight. I can tighten it and then hook the belt onto the strap with it tight, but then it gets loose pretty quickly. My pants end up holding the belt up.

AxessDenydAs time goes on, I feel like lowering the rating even more. I hardly ever wear this belt, and it just does not hold. Sitting down and standing three or four times loosens it completely, and walking around grocery shopping made me have to go into the bathroom to tighten the belt. Failure or a product. Get a Grip6 belt instead for less than half the price.

Really overpriced, the belt goes on slowely and the hook doesn’t hold it all that well. A belt from amazon will do the same thing but much cheaper
